The 8 intelligences
In 1983 Harvard psychologist Howard Gardner proposed in Frames of Mind that there is more than one way to be smart. His theory of multiple intelligences describes eight: linguistic, logical-mathematical, visual-spatial, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal and naturalistic (the eighth was added in the 1990s).
Psychologists still debate whether these are separate "intelligences" or talents and preferences - but as a map of how you like to think and learn, the profile is genuinely useful. Your report explains each of your top intelligences, the careers that fit them and how to use them to learn faster.
